This nationally significant social infrastructure project was undertaken to nurture, trial and share new ideas and form new partnerships that will drive better outcomes for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or have low vision.Job DescriptionThe RoleNextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Child Care Educator to join our team at Macquarie Park at our NextSense Preschool.This is a full-time role, reporting directly to Head of Early Years, working in our Sign Bilingual Room.As a Certificate III or Diploma Educator with practical knowledge of AUSLAN, you'll make a difference in this role by:
- Supporting the delivery of a range of individual and small group educational programs to meet the individual needs of all children.
- Assisting to implement daily routines and with ensuring a safe, healthy and clean indoor and outdoor environment for children.
- Preparing and maintaining all records, reports and documents as required.
- Supporting the work of the teachers to ensure high quality outcomes for the children who have a sensory disability.
- Communicating effectively with other members of the service, and NextSense together with children, families, visitors and other professionals.

- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Cert III or Diploma qualified.
- Proficient in using Auslan.
