The Gap Community Early Learning Centre is a dynamic service that endeavours to engage in meaningful partnerships with all children, families, educators, and community members. The learning environments within the service are created to assist children in their growing sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Currently, Gap Community Early Learning Centre is looking for motivated Child Care Worker (permanent).

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 plus superannuation.

We are seeking an experienced Child Care Worker who offers the following:

• ·     Helping to prepare tools and materials for kids' educational and leisure                  activities.
• ·     Controlling children's behaviour and directing their social growth
• ·      Preparing and leading children's activities
• ·      Reading and playing games as a means of entertaining kids
• ·      Watching over kids during recreational activities
• ·      Observing children's daily activities
• ·      Monitoring children's hygiene

What you'll need to be successful

• ·         Certificate III in Child Care (desirable)
• ·         Currently hold, or are willing to undertake, a Working with Children Check
• ·         A positive, friendly attitude
• ·         Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• ·         Certificate in First Aid & CPR
