Guide Stonnington through sound advice, recommendations, effective governance and compliance practices, as we honour and maintain our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and comply with Child Safety legislation.
Joining our dynamic People and Culture team, the Child Safety Compliance Officer will:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters related to Child Safety Legislation.
- Contribute to strategic plans and actions to address Child Safety issues with finesse.
- Collaborate, educate and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing best-practise outcomes.
- Set up fail-safe mechanisms for monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance and top-notch governance.
This is a part-time role requiring 22.8 hours per week (0.6FTE) and can be worked across either 3, 4 or 5 days, accommodating flexibility needs and a work-life balance you prefer. We offer a competitive base annual salary of between $95,013 to $102,899 pro-rata, plus 11% superannuation. To excel in this role, you'll require:
- Proficiency and practical experience with the Victorian Child Safe Standards, coupled with qualifications or technical expertise in policy and service development within the children, families, and youth sector.
- Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency.
- A demonstrated capacity to cultivate cooperative and collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
