As the Centre Director / Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the operation and management of daily activities within the centre.
- Guiding a team of educators, offering leadership and direction within our service.
- Working together with team members to introduce and execute fresh concepts.
- Delivering top-notch care and education to children.
- Establishing connections with children and families within the centre.
- Engaging in ongoing critical reflection to deepen personal learning and offer guidance to team members.
- Staying up to date with industry developments and legislative changes.
- Assisting educators on the floor to maintain appropriate ratios, steering practices, and providing mentorship.
- Recruitment of new educators and training of their skills.
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience within a similar Centre Manager / Operations Manager position.
- A Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA equivalent in either.
- A Valid Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain).
Asides from working in a great environment with supportive management and having excellent work life balance (38 – 40 hours weekly), you will be well remunerated with a salary circa $110,000 + super + profit share.
