Requirements:

• Plan nutritionally and healthy balanced meals for children between the ages of 6 months to 6 years old. We are following the Feed Australia program in order to support our chef in planning the menu.
• Preparation of meals, including: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack.
• Seasonally review menu plans and submit to the Centre Manager for approval to ensure they adhere to campus budgets.
• Create menus on a 4 week rotation, display within the campus and distribute to families via email.
• Plan and conduct workshops for families regarding healthy balanced meals preparation.
• Plan and conduct occasion cooking demo or activity with a group of children within the campus.
• Ensure to follow within the regulation regarding preparing and providing special dietary needs of children within the campus.
• Maintain a high level of health & safety standards.
• Your skills and qualifications should include:
• Holding relevant food handling certificates or commercial cookery certificates
• A valid Working with Children's Check
• Experience and passionate in creating well balanced and whole food meals for young children
• Organised, neat, clean, and pay attention to details.
