What your day could look like;
- Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their potential.
- Building lasting and meaningful relationships with families to ensure they feel informed and confident that their children are receiving exceptional education and care within the community.
- Planning and setting up experiences designed to develop children's individual skills and abilities.
- Scaffolding children's learning throughout the day using open ended questions.
- Embracing nature and learning more about our natural world from the children around you.
- Using photos and videos to document snapshots of learning as they occur. Realistic documentation expectations (educators are not expected to send photos daily or communicate with families using software technology)
You will need;
- Diploma qualification or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Flexibility in work hours, including availability for both opening and closing shifts
- Understanding of National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Passion for creating engaging play spaces and setting up intriguing experiences based on the children's interests
- Strong written and verbal English skills to be able to confidently document, contribute to the Weekly Curriculum reports and cycles of planning.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends, research, and best practices.
