Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is an unprecedented education group aiming to deliver Australian children a unique early childhood education by blending Finnish and Australian early childhood education concepts. Our curriculum is based on the Finnish education concept of holistic learning and play.

ILO Kendall Early Education Centre Ballan is one of the centres under this family and is looking for talented and motivated Room Leadersand Educators to join our service located in Ballan VIC. These roles are immediate positions with a strong induction program about our Finnish Teaching Program.

ABOUT YOU:

- Having a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

- Having attended food safety training

- Having working experience within the early childhood sector

- Holding core values of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with children, families and colleagues

- Having a mindset of respect and appreciation for a strong team culture of working together

- Having an open mind and belief to embrace new early childhood education concepts for a better future for children

- Having Approved First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certification

- Having current Working with Children Check

- Having a National Police Check valid within 6 months or willingness to complete

KEY DUTIES:

Room Leader:

- Participate in the planning of curriculum and education programs to cater for the learning of the children

- Support the implementation of curriculum and education programs

- Provide guidance to and establish teamwork with other educators

- Make sure the children's room is clean and safe for children and Educators

- Utilize education Apps to provide feedback to parents regarding the learning of their children in our centre

Educator:

- Participate in the implementation of curriculum and education programs

- Provide support and feedback to the Room Leaders

- Make sure the children's room is clean and safe for children and Educators

- Utilize education Apps to provide feedback to parents regarding the learning of their children in our centre
