Get ready for an enjoyable Winter at Smiggins Hotel & Chalet Apartments, the ultimate ski in / ski out location in Smiggins, located on Perisher Ski Resort with weekly events with children including magician shows, firework displays and snowplay!
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual with an energetic, positive, and professional approach to leadership to join our team as a Childcare Supervisor for the upcoming Winter Season.
Our Day-care service, catering to hotel guests, operates from 8:30AM – 3:30PM, following by the kids-favourite, evening kids club from 5:30PM – 9PM. This role will involve a mix of hours between our day and night programs to make the most of your day on the slopes.
As a Childcare team member, you will:
- Conduct fun and engaging activities for the children.
- Ensure the safety of all children in both day and night programs.
- Lead craft sessions, games, and daily activities that create lasting memories.
- Respect and adhere to families’ requests of children’s daily routines.
- Be at ease caring for children from infants to young teens.
- Lead by example to run and develop children's programs each week alongside other staff members
We are in search of professionals with:
- Previous experience in a similar childcare role, with leadership experience
- A positive and cheerful attitude, with a focus of building relationships with children and families
- Australian working rights, with a varied roster covering day and night programs.
- Minimum Certificate III qualification in children’s services with a valid Working with Children Check
- A commitment to the entire Winter Season from 7 June – 7 October 2024
