Skills Australia Institute (SAI) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation.We have been providing training to International students for over 6 Years.
We deliver courses in the areas of Hospitality, Early Childhood Education, Business, ICT Networking, Automotive, Carpentry, Bricklaying & Tiling. We have 3 campuses, 2 based in Perth and 1 in Adelaide.
The Opportunity
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Trainer & Assessor – Childcare to join our friendly team at our East Cannington campus.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of Childcare on a full-time /part-time basis. .
The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Training and Assessing the students of Certificate III and Diploma level.
- Arranging and doing the WBT visits.
- Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry-relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment.
- Marking students' assessments and providing quality feedback.
- Ensuring up-to-date Childcare focused industry currency.
- Complying with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered.
- Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students’ attendance, results, and unit outcomes.
*Each study term consists 10 weeks of study and 3 weeks of term break.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - need to acquire prior to training and assessing
- Must have relevant qualifications - Certificate III or Diploma in Chidlcare
- Current industry skills/experience in relevant field
- Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly organised and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
