Early Childhood Educator
Qualifications: Certificate III in Children Services
Multiple roles: Temporary Part-Time, Full-Time and Ongoing Part Time

We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our professional and dedicated Early Learning & Care team across our various sites in Temporary Part-Time, Temporary Full-Time and Permanent Part-Time roles.
About the Roles
Latrobe City Council operates 25 Early Learning & Care services, providing quality early education and care to the children in our community. These roles provide the perfect opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated professionals looking to further develop their Early Childhood career.
In these roles, you will have the chance to directly influence and contribute to the early education and care of our smallest community members. Children are our primary focus, they are valued and supported to grow and develop in our safe and enriching environments.
Roles available as follows:
Carinya Early Learning Centre, Morwell (Temporary)
- 1 x Part Time Position. 32 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday until December 2024.
Traralgon Early Learning Centre (Temporary)
- 1 x Full Time Position. 38 hours per week. Monday to Friday until December 2024.
- 1 x Part Time Position. 25 hours per week. Tuesday to Friday until December 2024.
- 1 x Part Time Position. 12 hours per week. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until December 2024.
- 1 x Part Time Position. 4 hours per week. Tuesdays, until December 2024.
Moe Early Learning Centre (Ongoing):
- 1 x Permanent Part Time Position. 20 hours per week.
About You
You will have knowledge, skills and experience in the Early Childhood sector that will allow you to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children in our community.
You will also have:
- Certificate III in Children Services.
- A genuine interest in Child Care.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Ability to work between the hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM
All successful applicants are also required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and have an employee Working with Children Check.
