About Us:
Trilogy Disability Foundation is a boutique Provider based on the beautiful Central Coast specialising in children & youth and respite care.
We are in need of a driven, mature leader with experience in the Out Of Home Care space and working with children and young people with significant disabilities.
The successful applicant must not be afraid of getting their hands dirty; work tirelessly; a mentor; be innovative, interactive, more visible, have a hands-on approach, and able to work independently as well as alongside their team.
About The Role:
This new Children Services Manager (CSM) will be working alongside another CSM (already in place) - and will be responsible for managing a cluster of children’s services which include Out of Home Care (OOHC) and NDIS funded supports.
The successful person will lead a team of Support Workers; and ensure child trauma informed support is provided in a high-quality homelike environment.
This critical role is responsible for the delivery of good outcomes for children and young people (14-25 year old); for example - treat them as valued members of the community & keep them out of incarceration; and be responsible for the effective management and leadership of services.
Key Focus Areas:
• A strong desire to deliver good outcomes for young people and high quality disability services focused on excellent customer service and growth;
• Comprehensive knowledge of human rights, trauma-informed principles and approaches, including positive behaviour support;
• Strong leadership capability with the proven ability to coach, mentor and develop high performing teams through authentic engagement;
• Strong commitment to and understanding of governance and compliance with standards and child protection legislation as it relates to non-family based care and disability services;
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to effectively co-ordinate and own management outputs (including budgets and rosters); set and meet goals; and be accountable for delivering against organisational strategies, targets, and priorities.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a middle management role, or suitably qualified disability services professional with minimum five (5) years’ direct experience in disability services, namely Out of Home Care and Case Management
• Relevant tertiary qualification(s), i.e. Diploma of Community / Children Services, or equivalent
• A willingness and commitment to exercise self-reflection and to improve as a leader. Capacity to lead and identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication with well-developed written, verbal and listening skills with the confidence and capability to use a range of systems and technology.

• Current NSW Driver’s Licence
