We are looking for vibrant, motivated and friendly nurses, either part time or full time, to join our busy practice in Bargo, NSW. This position would suit dedicated registered nurses with flexibility. Green Door Medical Bargo is a busy practice with 5 GP rooms open 6 days a week.
Applicants should ideally have previous experience in a General Practice medical clinic, along with good time management and computer skills. Knowledge of Best Practice software or similar is advantageous.
About the role
Duties will include all aspects of general practice:
- Triage
- Dressings
- Immunisations (scheduled and travel)
- ECG
- Spirometry
- Glucose / INR Testing
- Urinalysis / Urine Pregnancy Test
- CDM Plans
- Travel Health
- Assist with surgical procedures
- Ear syringing
- Cannulation and infusions
- Patient recalls
Skills and experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in general practice or primary health care setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current child related police clearance
- Competent in immunisations of children and adults
- Competent in infection control and cold chain management procedures
- Competent in conducting care plan / chronic disease assessments
- Ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
