Children’s Minster

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a small and growing church located in the picturesque village of Kangaroo Valley. The church has many links with the local community and are seeking to strengthen these links and engage with the increasing number of families with young children in the area.
To further our Gospel outreach and to build-up and strengthen the faith of the children attending our church we are seeking to engage a children’s minister on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate for this role is:

• A committed mature Christian
• Passionate about ministry with children and their families
• Experienced in working with children in a church context
• Able to work with a direct a team of people engaged in various aspects of children’s ministry in the church, equipping, encouraging and enabling them to serve.
• Able to relate well with parents to encourage and equip them in their primary discipleship role of their children.
• Has a current Working with Children Check and is able to be licensed as a lay minister by the Archbishop of Sydney.
