Address4D Health and Performance is seeking an enthusiastic and goal-driven practitioner to be part of our dynamic, professional and passionate team based in Sydney, NSW.
4D Heath and Performance is a busy multidisciplinary practice, providing physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage, rehabilitation services and high performance athletic training. Due to an increasing demand for our services in Sydney CBD, we are looking for a new team member to assist in the growth and development of our business.
Working with an elite team of healthcare providers, the successful applicant will see a patient load consisting of private patients, athletes and workers' compensation.
Our clinic is designed to allow practitioners to take a patient from the initial stages of injury all the way through to a return to daily life, with a rehab space that includes a fully equipped high-performance gym, an Alter-G Anti Gravity treadmill and compression pants.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use current evidence-based techniques to assess, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and sporting conditions.
- Spend one-on-one time with patients to understand how their issue is affecting them and then provide a client-centred treatment approach to achieve their goals.
- Providing targeted treatment and rehabilitation interventions.
- Educating patients about movement and exercise
- Writing reports for doctors and other medical specialists
- Helping patients manage chronic diseases or acute physical injuries
- Improving patient mobility and enhancing their quality of life
- Ability to build your own client base, understanding marketing strategies
What we are looking for:
- 2-3 years of private practice experience
- Excellent diagnostic skills
- Manual therapy skills (ART, dry needling preferable)
- Rehabilitation of sports and general injuries
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Worker’s Compensation accreditation
- Sound knowledge of WC reporting and Dr letter reporting
