Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opportunity to choose your own team.
- Troubleshoot and implement continuous improvements
- Lead, train, and support other operators
- Set up, change over, and shut down the line, including assisting with factory lockup.
- Uphold quality control, GMP, and health and safety guidelines.
- Operate and control the Easter spinning line, including managing tanks, tempering, depositing, spinning, the cooling tunnel, and demoulding processes.
- Follow SOPs and recipes
- Collaborate with day shift Team Leaders and the afternoon packing Team Leader.
- Complete line running paperwork, weight checks, start-up checks, and temper checks.
- Clean equipment and surrounding work areas
- Manage rework, such as broken eggs from demoulding or wrapping, going back into the tank room.
- Follow a production schedule set by the factory manager.
- Opportunity to obtain forklift license and first aid training.
- Filling, sealing, and enrobing truffles
- Decorating products, including striping truffles
- Moulding bars, solids, and shells using both the moulding plant and manual techniques
- Operating packing machines
- Assisting with making frozen shell pralines and fillings
- Packing chocolates into boxes in the adjacent area
- Trialling new products
