CHPP Operator Maintainer - Trade
• Meals and Accommodation Provided on 7/7 Roster
• $85- $90 per hour
• FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from NSW
About the role
Seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainers with a Mechanical or Electrical Trade FIFO or DIDO in an ongoing position, to build the production and culture within an established CHPP. You will be an integral crew member with strong leader skills who can drive performance through production processes and instil a safety-oriented culture.
7/7 12.5 hrs shifts DS/NS with 6 and 12 month fixed Bonuses.
Permanent Positions may be considered upon application.
What you will be doing
• Within the CHPP you will be required to:
• Operate and monitor the preparation plant to optimise production.
• Identify, report and act on all hazards.
• Perform first response breakdown maintenance tasks as required.
• Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations and train loading in line with schedules and blend parameters
• Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout.
What you will need
• CHPP processing experience
• Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar role or within an Open Cut Coal mining Environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and share knowledge and information.
• Current Drivers Licence with reliable transport
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Working Safety at Heights & Confined Spaces would be desirable.
• Ability to pass an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
