About The Role
The CHPP Operator will support our Narrabri Coal Mining Operations by being responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant. This role will involve stockpiling and control room operations to ensure that the plant is operated within the design parameters to maximise yield outputs and run-of-mine (ROM) inputs.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CHPP plant and equipment
- Ensure work areas and barring down are cleaned as required;
- Fault finding and servicing of equipment
- Cleaning and maintenance of tools and work area;
- Perform production and train load out duties
- Perform control room operations
What You'll Bring
- Strong safety culture including Take 5’s and Risk Assessment capabilities
- Current valid driver’s licence
- EWP ticket
- Dozer, Bobcat and Loader tickets and experience
- Prepared to work rotating shifts – day and night rosters
- Experience working safely in an industrial environment
- Trade Qualification (Not Essential|)
