The site produces 10mtpa of export coal with extensive coal reserves to support a long mine life. Our world-class coal handling, preparation and train loading facility has an annual production capacity of 13.5Mtpa ROM tonnes and a train loading average performance rate of 5,000tph, servicing a highly productive mining operation that employs approximately 400 full time employees and contractors.
We are looking for highly motivated CHPP Technicians (Trade Qualified) to join our safety and result-driven team. You will be joining a highly motivated team where everyone contributes to our positive culture. These positions are permanent full time, working an even time roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Effectively and efficiently operating and monitoring CHPP equipment to facilitate achievement of CHPP plans and targets.
- Participating and contributing to our proactive safety culture.
- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values.
- Proactively working with the CHPP team to ensure that production and other targets are achieved.
- Be active and creative in wanting to make a difference and continuously improve yourself and the team you will work with, to achieve highest levels of performance.
- You have previous CHPP operations experience (Control room, Process operations and Train loading).
- You are a qualified tradesperson (Mechanical/Boilermaker/Electrical).
- You have clean coal stockpile dozer competencies / experience.
- You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
- You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment.
- You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
- You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
