This is an outstanding opportunity for a customer service orientated manager to join us as at our 8-screen cinema at Newmarket Village.
Skills & experience
- At least 2 years of demonstrated team leadership/supervisory skills and a passion for customer service.
- A background in hospitality is advantageous, with up to date RSA and food handling training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail and superior time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle customer concerns as they arise.
- Enthusiasm, with the ability to create a fun and friendly atmosphere.
- Flexible approach to working hours required.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are seeking individuals with prior supervisory/leadership experience who are team players, have a passion for excellence, and strive to provide the ultimate guest experience!
- Reporting to the Cinema Complex Manager, assist with day-to-day operations of the cinema.
- The successful candidate will be trained in everything they need to know to run a shift at the cinema, from making popcorn and Gold Lounge cocktails through to cashing up and making sure our movies screen in the highest quality.
- Provide leadership and coaching to cinema workers, setting the example with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
- The role requires availability during peak periods, including weekends and school holidays.
