A bit about the role….
- Genuinely engage with guests and provide a helpful and personalised experience.
- Undertake general day to day front office activities, supporting the Front Office Manager and guiding other Front Office staff.
- Create up-selling opportunities and suggest ways to improve guest's stay.
- Be a trusted contact for all guests, help them with hotel and local knowledge and advice.
- Stay one step ahead of guest needs - record and act on preferences and handle messages, requests, questions & concerns.
- Be a first point of contact for any critical emergency situations and have an eye for safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to achieve positive guest outcomes.
A bit about you…
We're looking for an energetic individual with excellent communication skills who works well within a team. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
- Hotel/Business Administration qualification.
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience.
- Fluent in English both written and verbally.
- High level of attention to detail and strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience in hotel property management systems- preferably Opera.
- Excellent presentation, punctual and professional.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays and PM shifts as required.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
