About the role
As a Centre Assistant, you’ll provide a great customer experience through maintaining the upkeep of facilities at the Riverton and Cannington Leisureplexes. You will also be responsible for setting up and packing down functions, ensuring cleanliness of the facilities and keeping public spaces tidy and free from graffiti and litter.
A snapshot of your new role:
- Maintain the presentation of the Leisureplex facilities and cleaning duties, where required
- Setting up and packing down of functions and events
- Assisting with sports courts preparations
- Assist with birthday party hire groups
- Assist in stocktaking and restocking, where required
- Assist Leisureplex customers with general enquiries and information
The facility operates seven days a week including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Candidates are required to be available all hours. Please see opening hours here
Who we’re looking for:
- You enjoy working in a team and collaboration is your motto
- Great interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist people
- Experience and willingness to maintain a clean and presentable environment
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to move large tables and carry up to 15kgs
- Great time management skills
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, public and school holidays
