Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a motivated individual to undertake an entry-level Civil Construction Apprenticeship.

Located within the southern suburbs of Adelaide, this 3-year fulltime position will enable you to develop relevant skills and knowledge within the industry through working hands-on, and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations.

Duties Include:

• Site preparation and excavation
• Level base and surface materials
• Lay pavers
• Repair and installation of drainage logistics
• Concrete and bitumen repairs and reinstatements
• Install safety barriers and traffic management 
• Operate plant machinery and use power tools

• Driven with a positive attitude
• Enjoy working in an outdoor environment
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Physically fit and able to move repetitively
• Strong verbal communication skills

• Must hold a provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
• Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Any labouring or industry experience (desirable)
