Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications from experienced Civil Labourers/Concreters to work within the City of Gold Coast's Infrastructure Delivery division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia's second-largest local government and one of our city’s largest Organisations.
Your new role
You will be working within the Civil Construction crews on various projects such as new storm water areas, footbridges, roads, round abouts and new walkways across the Gold Coast. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Laying of storm water pipes
- Knowledge of grades and gully pit installation
- Kerb installation levels and setup
- Concrete installation footpath, driveways, boxing up, install and finishing, grades and levels
- Assisting with site clean up
- Heavy lifting on bollards etc
What you will need to succeed
You will be an experienced civil labourer with exposure to civil works, concreting and pipe laying, particularly storm water pipes. You will hold a high respect for safety standards and quality assured works. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:
- C Class Licence (MR highly desirable)
- White Construction Card
- 6–8 months Civil labouring experience
- You will be able to provide an up-to-date CV detailing your experience in the industry along with two recent references to back you up
