We can offer the right candidate a genuine opportunity to grow their skills and progress their career with a leading Civil Contractor, gaining formal qualifications and enhancing your skills with nationally recognised tickets including a Certificate III Civil Construction Pipe Laying.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
TOPPY/LABOURERS
- Desire to build a career in the Civil Construction industry - with opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Pipe Laying.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
- Ability to set-up pipe laser
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards
- Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable)
EXCAVATOR OPERATORS
- operating 20 tonne plus machines
- demonstrated experience of lifting operations
- ability to carry-out deep excavations
- skilled with working in shoring
- capable of trenching
- placing pipes
- back-fill and compaction
