AddressCommplete is an Illawarra-based company that specialises in telecommunications network construction. We operate Nationally within the Telco, Resources, Government and Energy Supply sectors.
We are seeking a Civil Constructions Supervisor and Civil Labourer to join our growing team.
The candidates will have broad construction experience, which may include say bulk earthworks, civil site preparation, pit and pipe, underground earth grids, foundation construction, compound works and fencing.
For the supervisor role strong leadership skills are essential and should include ability to organise construction activity onsite, complete WHS compliance requirements and promote a safe work environment.
Essential to both roles is the ability to work away from home. When project works are away from home we will offer up to a 15/6 roster, however longer time onsite may occasionally be required or can be requested.

The role / candidate responsibilities:
- Ability to regularly work away from home (LAFHA) a minimum of 15/6 roster as required
- Manage or be part of a small construction team and delegate roles, responsibilities and work tasks
- Promote a culture where the preservation of Health, Safety & Wellbeing of all persons is paramount
- Liaise directly with Project Manager to assist with planning, construction and completion phases of each project
- Interpret and construct a variety of telecommunications projects in accordance with design briefs, construction drawings and client specifications
- Utilise company and client electronic systems for project and site HSEQ management as required
- Conduct safety prestart and toolbox meetings
- Capture and escalate WHS and design issues to the Project Manager
- Possess fitness to undertake physical work and manual handling
- Regularly report on work progress, completion dates, HR requirements, tooling & equipment
- Supervisor to complete daily timesheets for teams
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Aptitude for IT systems, as a key requirement of the role is utilising email and company/client applications
- Ability to follow instructions & work in a team environment
- Must be flexible – weekends, working at night & travel will be required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
- Strong leadership skills, must be able & willing to lead a team, provide guidance, instruction & offer opinions
- Must have a solid knowledge of all required WHS requirements and practices
- Attention to detail, to ensure a careful & precise approach to works

Essential Education & Competency requirements for the role:
- Current Drivers License MR or above
- OHS General Induction White Card
- First Aid & CPR
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in previous leadership roles preferred for the Supervisor role.
Desirable Education & Competency requirements for the role:
- Trade Qualification/s
- EME/RF Awareness
- Excavator and other civil plant experience
- Welding ticket
