The role
As one of our Civil Construction Workers, you will undertake a range of tasks related to Civil Construction work (usually within the road reserve), infrastructure maintenance and associated activities including drainage, concreting, paving, earthworks and asphalting.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have skills and experience in:
- Civil Construction, general road maintenance, or concrete work
- safe and competent operation of a range of plant and equipment associated with road construction and maintenance activities
- effectively manage a safe and efficient worksite
- good communication skills with a customer service focus
- the ability to work as a cooperative and effective team member
The position includes a 9 day working fortnight (fortnightly RDO) and is based from the Adam Street Depot, Golden Square to service the City of Greater Bendigo area.
This is a physically demanding role, that may involve regular lifting, digging, general labouring and requires a good level of physical ability. A pre-employment medical assessment may be undertaken. A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
