Role Overview:
As a Civil Construction Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of construction projects, including infrastructure development, roadworks, drainage systems, and earthworks. Your responsibilities will include operating heavy machinery, performing manual labor, and assisting in the installation and maintenance of construction materials and structures. You will work under the supervision of site managers and project leaders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining construction equipment and machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and rollers.
- Performing manual tasks including digging, trenching, and backfilling.
- Assisting with the installation of pipes, drainage systems, and concrete structures.
- Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Adhering to project schedules and deadlines.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Skills/ Experience we are after:
- Experience in Civil Construction or a related field preferred.
- Valid white card (Construction Induction Card) and any relevant machinery tickets (e.g., excavator, roller) advantageous.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work.
