A high-profile, end-user organization with significant capital reserves has appointed us to search and select a client-side Civil Design Manager for their Capital Projects team which has a capital project spend of up to $200m/year across all projects from $100k – 1bn.

Role:
With an extensive proposed infrastructure delivery plan in place, the Civil Design Manager will take projects from conception to construction tender documentation stage where the project is then handed over to a Project Manager.

Criteria for the Design Manager:
- 7+ years experience in design coordination/management or client-side Project Manager roles
- 7+ years experience in the civil infrastructure sector
- Proven Design Management experience otherwise employment longevity served as either a Design Consultant or Design Coordinator and ready for the step up to Design Manager
- Experience in writing scopes and briefs and then manage the consultants outputs knowing the level of detail required
- Determination of design deliverables experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Tertiary qualified in civil engineering or construction management
- The right to work in Australia
- Perth-based or en route within 4 weeks
