Your Opportunity
We are looking for a collaborative and passionate individual to join our Water sector. This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience in a consultancy that will provide you with a platform to tap into expertise across the globe and give you the hands-on experience to make a difference in the communities that we live and work in. This role is focused on giving you exposure to the dams industry and the projects we work on which impact our world. Every day will see you actively engaged with contributing to the success of our global consultancy. You will be supporting with the planning and delivery of projects, engaging with clients, developing your skills, assisting with bids and proposals and working as part of an experienced team.

About you
We are looking for someone who is has reasonably recently graduated in a civil degree and has a passion for dam engineering. This role will present you with a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical skills through interesting and challenging project work, with great prospects for career progression as the business continues to grow. You will work as part of a dynamic team to develop and apply innovative solutions with a demonstrated commitment to Net Zero, reducing carbon and cutting edge digital design.

You have a desire to make a difference in the world, and share the values we believe in. We would love for you to be a collaborative person, who has a hands-on approach to problem-solving and is interested in upskilling or passionate about digital tools and design. You could be involved in a range of responsibilities which include:

  • Preparing feasibility studies, calculations, and outline/detailed Civil Engineering designs.
  • Assist in the design of large, multidisciplinary projects, providing technical support, project management, and professional guidance to reports to aid their development.
  • Connecting into our Global Dams and Hydropower capability and capacity to bring the best of Mott MacDonald to our Australian clients and growing a team aligned to client needs.
