Duties and responsibilities:
- Uphold and drive compliance with the OHS Acts, legislation and Standards, Company policies and systems.
- Take reasonable care to prevent injuries to self and others.
- Planning and completing drafting projects (Wet and Dry Fire) within stringent deadlines, and with detail in accordance with Australian Standards, NFPA and project specifications.
- Ability to Design and model Fire systems in terms of water supply, Fire Detection, and EWIS using AutoCAD, and Revit and Navisworks (Autodesk) 3D software.
- Project coordination and clash detection via BIM 360 software.
- Preparing “Shop”, “Installation”, and “As Built” drawings and administering project drawing registers.
- Possess a detailed knowledge of Siemen’s Detection products, and its unique system topology.
- Product selection (wet and dry) for the appropriate Hazard.
- Creating fabrication sheets for the sprinkler pipe networks.
- Working within Builder’s communication platforms such as Aconex for information and the uploading of project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of specifications for projects.
- Site inspections for system installation conformity checks, and the preparation of As Built documentation.
- Maintain close contact with Installation Technicians and Project Managers.
