About the Position
Our internal design team undertakes detailed design of council’s land infrastructure projects, including the design of roads, intersections, open spaces, footpaths, drainage, and public utilities using Civil3D and AutoCAD Engineering design packages.
The Technical Services section of Onkaparinga Council delivers diverse Civil Engineering design projects for all sections within Council. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineering Designer to assist in the detailed design of a wide range of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage and municipal infrastructure. You will be involved in engaging with a skilled professional team to contribute to the delivery of exceptional results.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills in Civil3D and AutoCAD Engineering design packages to deliver projects requiring:
- Detailed design of land infrastructure projects, including the design of roads, traffic management, intersections, footpaths, drainage, and public utilities
- Working within a multi-disciplinary design team
- Preparation of concept and detailed design documentation
