Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.The Senior Storeperson, reporting to the Operations Manager offers an opportunity to lead the safe and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods between multiple Supply Chain facilities.Your key responsibilities:Accept and unload deliveries, informing leaders and recording all freight damage and discrepanciesMaintain inventory control registers, including the preparation and reconciliation of regular reporting of all stock movement and dispatchesEnsure a log of all deliveries and tags are accurate and stored in the appropriate locationAssist with the delivery of perishable stock items to required departments in a timely mannerSupervise and train team members within their work areas in day-to-day operational mattersWhat we are looking forProficiency in written and spoken EnglishExperience in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and ExcelCurrent WHS Forklift licenseCurrent MR Truck licenseAbout youThe purpose of this role will be to receive, store and distribute goods from the warehouse and loading dock to various business units. With a strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety, the successful candidate will ensure the provision of excellent service and workplace efficiency. This position is a general labour position, with a high level of physical movement and manual handling of materials and equipment.Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Warehouse team at The Star Brisbane.
