Civil Labourer / Operator

NEW OPPORTUNITIES. We are seeking workers in the Western Suburbs and Logan for a project commencing in Brassal, North West Ipswich. You will be part of a small crew tasked with improving the conditions for our roadways. Over time erosion and natural forces can make our roadside batters prone to slippage. You will be labouring, along with performing minor operations of small machinery (Pozitrack, Roller, Tipper etc...) You will also need to perform the physical task of preparing Gabion Cages and tying steel associated with these. 

Commence work ASAP

This is the first of a series of small projects, each lasting 4-6 weeks, but with several projects back to back. You will work in different locations, all local to Brisbane and Surrounds. This will be an ongoing commitment.

Requirements for this position

• White Card
• Roller Ticket and Skid Steer Ticket
• HR License ideal, not a direct requirement
• Previous experience in civil construction
• Ideally in detailed earthworks crew
• Experience in small civil crews, teamwork is pertinent
• Availability to work Mon - Sat each week
• Capability to perform strenuous physical tasks
• Own reliable transport and PPE

Pay details and conditions

• $47.50hr - Flat Rate
• 10 Hour Work Days - Mon-Fri + Half Saturdays
• Daily Travel Allowance
• Meal Allowance where applicable (9.5hr shifts or greater)
• 50-55 hr work week
