About our Client:

We are currently recruiting for a Civil Leading Hand / Supervisor to work on an ongoing roster pattern.
About the Role:
- Constructing earthfill embankments, borrow pit management, civil load and haul operations
- Application of earthworks equipment and their capabilities. Including tracked dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, articulated haul trucks and rollers.
- Development of traffic management plans to ensure multi-location operations can be conducted safely.
- Working in compliance with a works execution plan and quality management plan.
- Implementing construction drawings, specifications and designs.
- Communicate to operators in their workgroup, as well as internal stakeholders.
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
- Extensive experience in construction (10+ years) and supervision (5+ years) associated with bulk earthworks.
- Experience handling safety issues, hazards and establishing a positive safety culture.
- Extensive experience in machine operating and the operating limits of machines on site. Including being proficient with understanding, implementing and altering GPS machine models.
- Ability to multitask across different work areas and work tasks, while maintaining a good attention to detail.
- Sound leadership and motivational skills.
- Proven operating experience and tickets
- Current drivers licence
- S1, S2, S3 Tickets necessary
- Trainer and Assessor ticket desirable
