About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities Division are currently seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to join our team in Dandenong South. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of Jet Trucks and or Civil works. The job Offered on a permanent, full-time basis this role is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate to support a 10 year contract.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the following –
- Ensuring all works are performed as directed in a competent and safe manner.
- Carrying out labour tasks/field work unsupervised, including planned and preventative maintenance and reducing repeat blockages.
- Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications.
- Attendance and active involvement in team meetings and toolbox meetings.
- Lead and/or assist in the completion of a job through mobile field computing and/or paperwork.
- Operating and maintaining maintenance requirements of plant, tools and equipment.
About you
To be successful in this role you would ideally possess the following –
Qualifications
- Current Victorian Drivers License.
- First Aid Level 1
- White Card
- Heavy Rigid (HR) License
- Traffic Control
Experience
- Experience working in a similar maintenance or construction role in water, drainage, or sewer.
- Jetting and clearing of retic and branch sewers. Recommended .
- Knowledge of Water Industry infrastructure and asset management systems an advantage.
