As a Civil Project Engineer, you will join a large and established multidisciplinary project team based at our centrally located Perth CBD office. As a valued member of the team, you will get to contribute to the delivery of a major mining project, valued at more than $1 billion.

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the delivery of a large bulk earthworks project, involving all activities related to tendering, awarding and management of site works through commissioning.
- Develop schedules and reports and conduct tender assessment.
- Develop Risk and Schedule Compilation Strategies.
- Provide construction support and management for the contract works.
- Assess technical challenges and propose solutions.
- Evaluate all commercial submissions from the contractor.
- Monitor the progress of the works and report on project status.
About You
You’re likely to have experience within mining, engineering design, or EPCM project environments.
In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in project management and engineering.
- Experience in developing all components of a Civil Earthworks Tender including managing, evaluating, awarding and on-site works.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and MS Project.
