Civil Project Engineer - Roads/Earthworks

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Civil Project Engineer to work along our skilled Tier 1 Client with work based in the Pilbara FIFO from Perth. 

Working within the Sustaining Capital Team, focusing on Bulk Earthworks/Site Roads, you will be reporting to the Project Lead. There are currently Road programs under implementation; with approximately 4 projects in studies phase, therefore the potential to long term opportunities in this team.

DUTIES:

• Reporting to our experienced Project Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Project(s) on site
• Providing technical advice to relevant personnel, and where necessary obtaining information from the Project Lead
• Daily contractor engagement, ensuring a consistent workflow and progress being made
• Continuous monitoring of the program throughout the life of the project, ensuring milestones are completed on time
• Identifying and summarising technical information from specifications and drawings
• Liaising with the Client and personnel on site to ensure 
• Ensuring safety and quality compliance paperwork is up to date 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering Qualified Degree (Civil Engineering ideal)
• Perth & Surrounds applicants only due to roster
• 5-8 years Post Graduate experience with Bulk Earthworks and Civil Projects in the mining Industry; ideally with a minimum of 2 years on Client side
• Solid understanding of Earthworks
• Experience with Contractor/Sub Contractor management utilising clear and professional communication skills
• MS Suite experience (Microsoft Excel & Project), Primavera 6 & SAP experience Advantage
• White Card
