Civil Project Scheduler

Randstad are on the lookout for experienced Civil Project Schedulers and Administrators for upcoming Projects in 2024!Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and report on project schedules
• Maintain integrity of integrated project schedules across designated sites
• Build relationships and support the objectives of Project Managers, Engineers, Design Managers, Construction Managers, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams
• Engage in the project's development phase, tender stage, and delivery phase to ensure that scheduling aligns with overarching project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project completion, addressing potential risks and delays.
• Identify, forecast, and manage project risks, ensuring onitor project variations and changes are escalated with leaders
• Help develop master schedules and maintain baseline schedules.
• Processing requisitions, purchase orders,and produce fee / tender submissions
• Manage Employee Onboarding including record keeping, training coordination - ensuring that all personnel are correctly qualified, equipped, and performing on the project work
• Monitor timesheets and expense claims (including subcontractor claims)
• Prepare agendas, take notes and minutes in the meetings and distribute
• Reviewing Civil design/construction plans (reviewing location of works against pipeline alignment, understanding the construction or activity methodology to be employed (including equipment and machinery)
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication regarding project progress.
• Ensure that all components of the project are delivered to approved work scopes
• General Administration duties and Ad Hoc tasks

What we are looking for:

• Previous Experience in Civil or Commercial Construction doing Scheduling/Coordination is essential*
• Qualifications in Project Management/Administration/Engineering highly desired
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• High resilience to working under pressure
• Proven experience producing high quality reports within timeframes.
• Commitment to health, safety, and best practice
• Experience with SAP, SIMPRO, and Prokor beneficial
