  • Base salary $101,414 + 11% superannuation

Are you self motivated, ambitious and experienced in project and contract management?Council’s Infrastructure Delivery department are seeking a competent and experienced Civil Projects Officer to assist with the implementation of capital works and community infrastructure projects across the Shire.This position will play an integral role in all phases of the project from concept design to handover.Responsibilities will include:
  • preparing cost estimates and tender documentation,
  • administration of capital works contracts,
  • preparing reports and
  • liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
ABOUT YOUTo be successful for this great career opportunity you will have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in delivering civil and/or building construction projects
  • Project and contract management experience, including preparation of cost estimates and tender documentation
  • Strong communication, negotiation and report writing skills
  • Ability to liaise with a broad range of people, community groups and public authorities
  • High attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and strong problem solving skills
