About the Opportunity:
As CIVIL SUPERVISOR, you will coordinate and allocate resources and oversee daily site activity during construction of various civil projects which may include; earthworks, drainage, and SA Water. Your role will involve managing subcontractors, organising daily site activities, promoting and driving an injury-free safety culture and ensuring HSE compliance across the site. The successful CIVIL SUPERVISOR will join a highly accomplished construction team to supervise and lead experienced groups of long-term, blue-collar employees to achieve the key project milestones. This role will suit a CIVIL SUPERVISOR with around 5+ years of civil contracting experience and exposure with SA Water. This position is a hands on position, you will be required to jump on machines and in the trenches as required and needed.
Experience, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- 5+ years’ of civil construction experience as CIVIL SUPERVISOR on Earthworks, Drainage or SA Water
- Proven success as a CIVIL SUPERVISOR managing construction teams and effectively allocating and utilizing plant and equipment to achieve project milestones
- Natural leadership skills and good all-round communication ability to liaise at all levels with various stakeholders
- Possess a “no fuss, can-do” attitude with flexible approach to problem solving
- Experience in operating plant and tickets associated
- Able to travel around SA to work locations as required
- Existing rights to work in Australia
