We are seeking the services of a quality Site Team Leader/Supervisor. If this is you and you are seeking a change then please read on.
The person we are seeking must be experienced, motivated and competent in all areas of civil construction based around (but not limited to) large and small land developments. This is a busy and challenging role due to the growth of the company. The Site Team Leader/Supervisor must be capable of managing sites under the direction of the Project Manager and Engineer and must be able to comply with the requirements of our Integrated Management System.
About you -
- 5 years minimum experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor within the subdivision/ land developments domain with good knowledge of sewer, water and roads.
- An excellent understanding of technical specifications and drawings
- Exceptional safety and quality management and organizational skills
- Solid people management skills
- Able to maintain comprehensive project documentation, daily recording, time sheets, field reports, and correspondence.
- Able to drive a team on a daily basis to ensure high productivity with quality, safe outcomes.
- Various machinery tickets most advantageous
- Very firm knowledge of Water, Drainage, Sewer, Bulk Earthworks, New Roads etc required.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Forward forecasting and programming with project P.M
- Administration including timesheets, delivery dockets and daily site diary
- Startups, toolboxes, site inductions, daily permits etc etc
- Mitigating and reporting incidences/near misses/hazards.
- Referring and communicating requirements of DBYD, PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs to all field staff.
- Be very much a hands-on Leader and lead from the front foot.
- Ensure all safety and quality measures are kept and maintained constantly.
- Ability to identify problems before they do become problems
- Able to get the best out of your team members.
The remuneration package including company vehicle commensurate to skill and experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
