Key aspects of the role

  • Responding to new and existing home insurance claim enquiries through a variety of channels (phone, web, email, etc.).
  • Identify the appropriate path of home insurance claim assessment and engage and instruct any suppliers or external experts required to support the process
  • Educating customers on the Honey products and services.
  • Supporting our customers through their claim efficiently
  • Working with claims supply chain to get customers back in their pre-loss position quickly and easily
  • Gathering feedback from customer conversations and sharing opportunities for improvement with the broader Honey Product & Engineering teams.
  • Responding to and resolving customer complaints as they arise, and working with colleagues to improve internal processes.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A passion for delighting, and empathising with our customers
  • A desire to work in a fast paced environment and is a self starter
  • A hunger for solving a problem
  • A keen interest in driving efficiency and continuous improvement into our claims processes
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster between the hours of 8am - 7pm Sydney time
  • Experience in a customer facing role (Contact Centre preferred, however not essential)
  • The ability to connect with your customers, ask probing questions and identify the right path forward to suit their needs
  • Great written and verbal communication with a high level of confidence communicating with customers through various channels
  • Experience working with home insurance claims is desirable, however not essential
