St Therese is a K-6 Catholic Primary School situated in Sadleir-Miller (situated 5 minutes from the M5 exit). About you
As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy. This is a temporary, full-time position teaching Year 2, for the remainder of the school year.
To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:
- an ability to work in collaborative and supportive relationships with other staff members and the wider community
- commitment to academic excellence and student growth
- familiarity with best theory and best practice in Literacy and Numeracy
- the ability to effectively collect, analyse and use data to inform teaching practice
- a commitment to creating safe and flexible learning environments that motivate and engage students to be passionate lifelong learners
- commitment to using technology to transform learning for students
- a sound knowledge of and a commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education.
You will have attained:
- tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS
- religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
