About you
St Michael’s Catholic Primary School Lane Cove, are seeking two Classroom Teachers, one 3 days per week commencing Term 3 (job share on Year 2 class) till the end of the school year. The other Classroom Teacher is 2 days per week for Term 3 only - (Year 3).
As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student
- have sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
