GA 2023)Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/SS884608This is a permanent part-time (0.75FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2024Willetton Primary School (PS) is seeking to appoint an organised and dedicated Cleaner in Charge to join our school.As a Cleaner in Charge, your role includes liaising with the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) on all cleaning matters, ensuring advice and support is current, relevant and consistent with the Department’s policies, training and procedures on school cleaning. You would monitor and manage staff leave entitlement in consultation with the MCS along with conducting monthly cleaning inspections with the MCS.The successful applicant should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to induct, coordinate and supervise our cleaning staff.Willetton PS is a dynamic and growing Level 5 school. The school has been recognised on a number of occasions for our excellent academic results. We are an Independent Public School located in the southern Perth Suburb of Willetton. - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to induct, coordinate and supervise the work of cleaning staff.
- Experience in school or commercial cleaning.
- Experience in the safe storage of cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals.
- Ability to recognise and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets, equipment operating instructions, safety instructions and training guidelines

- steps you took to clean the room or surface
- chemicals used on each material
- machinery used; and
