Cleaner/ Process Workers- PM Shift

As a result, we are looking for experienced Factory Cleaner/ Process workers to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. The primary responsibility for this role is to assist with GMP of the assembly floor, and also assist as a process worker when needed. We are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously.   We have the below shift available permanent full time Monday to Friday:

• Afternoon Shift – 1.54pm start to 10pm finish 

What will you be doing? 

• Cleaning inside the factory in our Assembly area - cleaning will take place while the running of production
• Sweeping and mopping of food wastage 
• Cleaning of floors, walls, conveyors, machinery, trays and racks
• Sanitizing of machinery and all food production equipment to the highest standard
• Deliver exceptional quality and results each shift– Detailed cleaning
• Handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Monitor chemical usage and ensure adherence to PPE and chemical handling procedures
• Assist with Assembly Line work - involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts; portioning components onto meal trays
• Assist with running of food to assembly lines ensuring product is continuously available; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Able to work in cooler environments – our factory is around 8 degrees Celsius 
• The ability to work under pressure and to strict time frames and quality standards
• Have a great eye for detail and take pride in your work and your team
• You enjoy doing repetitive work and like to know what your work is every day
• Whilst not essential previous experience in a 24 hour FMCG environment working as a cleaner would be advantageous.
