About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking an energetic Cleaning Supervisor to join our Cleaning team based at our Biloela processing site in QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the cleaning operations during the night shift to meet and maintain hygiene and bacteriological standards.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role will guarantee efficient cleaning of the plant according to our Quality Assurance program and address potential deficiencies and hazards. This position also requires supervising our cleaning team, identifying their needs, and implementing training, as well as recording any relevant documentation.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring procedures to minimise environmental harm, reduce resource wasting, and promote health and safety measures in the workplace.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Proven competency in management of a cleaning operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated personal qualities of reliability, commitment, and leadership.
- Full working rights in Australia
- Vehicle license and access to own transport
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Export Meat Orders in so far as they refer to cleaning of export abattoirs.
- Certificate in Front Line Supervision or equivalent.
- Possession of a current First Aid Certificate.
- Accreditation as a workplace assessor and/or trainer.
- Demonstrated successful experience in a supervisory capacity.
