What will you do? 

The primary focus of this role is to help Aurecon grow our Defence Consulting business, across a portfolio of engagements with CASG and the Capability Managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and execution of the Defence Consulting client plan and strategy

  • Focus on long-term engagements where we can collaborate and Partner with Defence

  • Work closely with key project delivery stakeholders to ensure alignment in capacity to deliver against time, quality, capability, capacity and skill availability during bid preparation and throughout delivery

  • Invest in long-term client relationships: developing deep understanding of the client’s business and investing in our capabilities and skills to better service clients’ current and future needs

  • Lead work winning efforts with our key clients – a team-based approach but where there is a clear leader and a single point of accountability

What can you bring to the team? 

  • Exemplify the Aurecon Defence Values of Co-Creation, Excellence, Integrity and Legacy

  • 10+ years’ relevant professional/ services and technical experience, preferably within the Defence Capability environment

  • 5+ years’ experience in professional services as part of complex projects

  • An established presence in the industry and the ability to build new relationships and win work

  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience

  • NV1 security classification or ability to obtain (Australian citizenship essential)

  • Degree in relevant discipline
