Join us at UNSW Canberra as we embark on an exciting journey to establish a new campus in the heart of Canberra's city centre. In 2024, we'll welcome our first undergraduate students and expand our presence with new buildings in 2026. As the leader of IT Client Services on the new campus, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the development of services to meet the growing needs of our expanding community. The Client Services Support (CSS) portfolio, under the direction of the Client Support Services Manager, will be at the forefront of providing responsive and proactive IT services, supporting UNSW Canberra's mission of promoting lifelong learning through innovation.
Responsibilities:
As the Client Services Team Leader you'll be responsible for day-to-day service delivery, incident resolution, and proactive support for IT systems at the UNSW Canberra City Campus. As the campus grows, so will your role, evolving into a supervisory position. Join us in building meaningful relationships across Defence, industry, government, and academia, and be a key player in the technological advancement of UNSW Canberra.
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- relevant qualifications and/or experience, with a minimum of 3 years of combined experience and training in a related field.
- demonstrated advanced understanding of a range of IT systems and applications including Windows operating systems, Microsoft cloud services and IT Service Management tools.
- advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- exposure to Agile and/or Lean methodologies and project management practices.

The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra City campus. To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
