Platform Settlements is a boutique property and settlement firm with a key focus on managing communications between residential property developers and purchasers, promoting a positive journey from purchase all the way through to settlement.
Platform Settlements are NSW’s leading specialists in the residential off-the-plan apartment space and we’re looking for someone to join our growing and energetic team based in our brand new Mascot office with flexible WFH on offer given the nature of your role. Parking also available.
Working in a tight-knit and collaborative team, where no two days are the same. This is a fun and varied role with exposure to work alongside multiple consultants including leading property developers, construction teams, real-estate agencies, finance brokers and strata and building managers.
You will have the opportunity to join a myriad of social and purchaser events, attend inspections on-site with purchasers and clients. You will be supported by a very hands-on Director and Business Manager plus the wider team.
The PositionProvide a full settlement service to purchasers and clients – including relationship management, project updates, pre-settlement & valuation inspection management, customer service and resolution of any related issues prior to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full liaison to all purchasers post unconditional exchange of a sale, including pre-settlement letters, project updates, settlement process and any correspondence relating to a sale.
- Attend valuation and pre-settlement inspections, including events and process any related follow up documentation such as defect reports.
- Facilitate the handover of keys and welcome pack to purchasers.
- Attend client meetings to establish a settlement procedure appropriate to each development.
- Mitigate settlement risk through buyer contact, manage reporting and trouble shoot potential contractual or finance issues.
- Create communication pieces in-line with project completion expectation and settlement requirements.
The ideal candidate for the role of Project Manager will have:
- Previous experience in real-estate or property industry is highly desirable
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A team player who brings a positive culture and attitude to the team/ business
- A customer centric focused approach, with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Ability to use initiative, be pro-active and work autonomously
- Relevant industry qualifications and/or experience
- Flexibility to perform ad-hoc requests and get involved as required
